6 TO 6 NIGHT CURFEW RULES IN PUNE: As per the review meeting on COVID-19, the government has decided and announces the order of night curfew from 6pm to 6am, and will be implemented by tomorrow i.e. Saturday April 3, 2021 also the situation is planned to be reviewed by next Friday April 9, 2021.
The Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Ajit Pawar and the Divisional Commissioner of Pune Mr. Saurabh Rao said that during this seven day, the restaurants, malls, bars and religious places will be shut but still the restaurants will be allowed to provide food parcel and delivery services until 10pm.
The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. Uddhav Thackeray said on television, “I cannot rule out imposing a lockdown if the current COVID-19 situation prevails. People have become complacent. We are in a Catch 22 situation – should we look at economy or health?”
Also “If this condition continues, I have told you already that in 15 days we will exhaust our infrastructure. So today I am giving a warning of a lockdown. Not announcing a lockdown yet. But if I don’t find a solution in two days after speaking to more people, then I have no option,” he said.
“Till now, we have administered 65 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses, including three lakh vaccine doses yesterday,” he said. Some people are getting infected even after vaccination because they stop wearing masks,” Thackeray said.
Some of the additional restrictions are also suggested by the Pune Mayor, Mr. Murlidhar Mohol, was suggesting to speed up the vaccination drive and increasing the medical infrastructure instead of imposing lockdown as it causes major loss to the livelihood of poor families/common citizens. Also said to put some of the restriction on public transportation but not to completely closing the transport facilities.
From this harsh situation of COVID-19, its a fact that even complete vaccination will take some time and the only way to protect yourself and your family, you all have to make sure to follow all the basic and other mandatory steps . For now, we can say that vaccination is the most important aspect for the covid management and for Pune, the vaccination to the district is only depending on the large supply as well as your own effort to take the vaccine within the time.
BE SAFE, BE HEALTHY and try to STAY AT HOME if is possible. For more updates stay connected, will reach you soon…

I think lockdown is not a best solution, in this situation neees to aware public and tell the ground reality of covid19 risk.
Untill public will not take own safety points and strict on the same, nothing will happening.
Here in our country until family member not suffering, they are not getting serious.

Maharashtra’s lockdown is like a joke to everyone. The Maharashtra government has failed in all aspects to fight corona and has played with safety of its people.

Lockdown is not the best way to end covid-19, it may slow down the process, but won’t put a full stop to it.
